WHO WE ARE
The Gender Inclusive Community-Driven Climate Action Plan in Raigad is a pioneering initiative that brings together local communities, women’s groups, and governance institutions to co-create climate resilience strategies. It localizes the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through participatory planning.
WHAT WE DO
Responding to vulnerability with justice and inclusion Raigad’s diverse landscapes — tribal forests, agrarian belts, and industrializing zones — face erratic monsoons, floods, landslides, and water scarcity. These stresses intersect with entrenched gender, caste, and tribal inequalities, producing differentiated vulnerabilities. This project addresses these realities by embedding inclusive governance into climate planning, ensuring adaptation is co-created and resilience grows from the ground up.
